Royal family mausoleum & mosque known for its ornate Alaouite architecture & green tiled roof.

The Mausoleum of Mohammed V is a historical building located in Rabat, Morocco, on the Yacoub Al Mansour esplanade, facing the Hassan Tower. It is the final resting place of the late King Mohammed V and his two sons, King Hassan II and Prince Abdallah.

Open daily, generally from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (hours may vary slightly by season or day, such as Fridays).

Admission Fee:
Entry is free of charge.

Dress Code:
As it is a religious site, visitors are required to dress modestly out of respect.

Activities:
Visitors can admire the magnificent traditional Moroccan architecture, including intricate zellige mosaics, carved plaster, and a cedar wood dome covered in gold leaf. It is also an opportunity to visit the nearby Hassan Tower and enjoy views of the Bou Regreg river estuary.
