The Hassan Tower (Tour Hassan) is the iconic, unfinished minaret of an incomplete mosque in Rabat, an emblematic symbol of Morocco’s rich history and architectural ambition. Commissioned by the Almohad Caliph Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur near the end of the 12th century, the structure was intended to be part of the world’s largest mosque.
